Today starts off with the giant Street Parade, leaving from Queen st. traveling up Pier St. then right onto Civic Pde and then left into Fresno St. and down to Cherry Lake Reserve where the carnival rides are already in action and the Mobil stage is full of singing.
With a variety of food stalls for your taste bubs to enjoy, place a blanket on the ground and enjoy the music while having a picnic lunch.
The Mobil Stage is alive again today with what Hobsons Bay have to offer in the way of local talent; eg. Altona City Theatre, ACTion Youth Theatre. Then pop over to the Civic Theatre and watch the "Sinbad"
Be transfixed by "The Great Gondos" entertainment that will please all chrildren at heart , and a host of other bands to keep you entertained for the afternoon.

Strike up the Band - 12noon till 2pm behind Hobsons Bay Civic Centre. Hyde St youth Band, Werribee Concert Band, & Sunshine Community Brass Band
Modle Aircraft Diplay - A display of vintage and late modle aircraft shown by The Altona/Laverton and Werribee Modle Aircraft Clubs.
Children's Workshop - Create a master piece with recycled materials. All materials supplied
